Out with the old, In with the NEW!!
As you all know, Kari, Luci and I are renting a nice sized duplex here in Liberal, KS. One reason for renting is we still own our house in NoDak. Since our last posting on the "Wall" we had told you that a couple had put down an offer on our home in Hillsboro and we accepted. Well, we thought that it would be fun to look at homes down here and see what we could get for our money. We had looked at some ranging from NO WAY IN #@!! to Wow! Obviously the first part we eliminated from our list and narrowed our search from there. We found a house, looked at it 2 times and drove by more than 2 times!! We thought about it and decided to put an offer down making it contingent upon the closing of our house we currently own. The home owner here accepted our offer and signed our contract!!! We are closing on our current home on October 3rd and we will be closing on our new home before the end of October! So if anyone would like to come for a visit, we have plenty of room! This house is a 3 bed/2 bath with a FENCED backyard!!! That is the best part of the whole thing, so no more murdered dogs!!

They accepted the offer!!!!!
Well, as some of you might know, we still own our house in North Dakota. In fact, it is kind of a joke down here..."we have a summer home in North Dakota". Anyhow, this last week there were two offers put on our place (finally) and we counter offered and they accepted. So, in short our home is in the process of being sold. We are having the closing on October 3rd! Whoo Hoo!!!!
Garett and I are still busy with work. I had my first set of school picture taken today. :) I haven't taken them since my junior year of high school. How silly it was to get all excited the night before again! :) I was like a little kid trying to figure out what I was going to wear for pictures. My mom would be proud that I had my outfit laid out the night before and everything. HE HE HE
Luci is doing good. Dakota is getting a little bit more rough with her but we are scolding her for it. We are going to the school again tomorrow to work on lessons and stuff in my room. Next weekend we are going to Omaha to meet up with family. Hope that all is well with everyone! God Bless!

Matt, Dora, Sarah, Garett and I went to the first high school football game of the year last night. It was really cool. Football games are a BIG thing down here because there really isn't much around. :) In fact, Matt was telling me that the high school has a contract with the towns that they play because they have to come from so far. Like they played Newton last night and that is about 30 miles north of Wichita, so like 4 hours from Liberal. You should have seen the crowd on the visitor side. I was totally surprised at how many people would drive all that way.
We rented some movies tonight to watch in our home theater. It is a pretty sweet set up. We have a projector in our basement mounted in the ceiling. The projected photo is about 60" X 40". It rocks and we love it. The Olympics were fun to what on there this year. We have it set up to watch TV, play a DVD, play a VHS and play Matt's Wii. Bowling on the big screen is AWESOME!!
I better go. Matt, Dora and Garett are waiting on me to start the movies...so I better not hold up the show!! More later....take care!
