Sorry that is has been so long since our last post!!  Time sure does fly when you're having fun.  Since our last post, Thanksgiving, we have had a full past few months!  As you know, my sister was married in December.  Carter was the ring bearer in the wedding.  He wore a tux and was pulled down the aisle in a little red wagon.  After the wedding, we came back to Liberal to spend Christmas and of course work.  Carter was admitted to the hospital on Christmas night with a touch of pneumonia.  Thanks to all your prayers, he was better in a few short days.

Carter has turned into such a little man.  Its hard to believe how quickly he picks up on things.  He is sitting up by himself, can stand with assistance and is even trying to crawl.  Just recently, he learned how to clap his hands and has quite the sense of humor!!  It is so hard to believe what we ever did before he was born.  He is such a blessing straight from God!!

Carter is now 10 months old.  It seems as just a few weeks ago we were at the hospital to see him for the first time and now almost a year later, we are planning his first birthday party!

In March, we are taking Carter on his first roadtrip, in the car, to North Dakota to visit grandparents and celebrate Kari's grandmother's 80th birthday!!  We are certainly looking forward to the trip home!  Living this far away, we take any opportunity to go home or have visitors!

Here is a video of Carter laughing and clapping. There are just no words to describe how much we love him and blessed we are to have him in our lives. (We are sorry that the video is sideways!)
